I didn’t start my program yet, in fact, I’m only doing my basics courses but I will enter this autumn. However, I’m 17 years old and my passion is sports. My glossary is for people who want to know more about this program or carrier, but everyone who wants to learn more about firefighter would maybe find my glossary interesting.

- A large and strong fire.
- Example: Their is a blaze in my neighborhood.

- Breathing apparatus
- Noun
- Equipment that helps firefighter breathe in smoky areas.
- Example: Firefighter use breathing apparatus.

- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Noun
- A life-saving technique used when someone stops breathing.
- Example: The firefighter used the cardiopulmonary resuscitation to help the victim.

- Noun
- The emergency center that sends firefighters to a scene.
- Example: I called the dispatch when my house was in fire and they send the firefighters.
